Republic of Ireland under 21 international James O'Shea joined Blues from Galway United in August 2009.
Regarded as one of Ireland's brightest talents, he was Galway's top scorer in the 2008/09 season with ten goals and was named captain for their 2009 League of Ireland campaign.
The Dublin-born player can operate on the right side of midfield or as a striker.
He began his career with Home Farm and Bray Wanderers before signing for Galway in December 2007.
O'Shea has three Under 21 international caps with one goal to his name.
The player made his debut for Blues against Manchester United at Old Trafford on August 16, 2009.
