Republic of Ireland under 21 international James O'Shea joined Blues from Galway United in August 2009.
Regarded as one of Ireland's brightest talents, the 20-year-old was Galway's top scorer in the 2008/09 season with ten goals and was named captain for their 2009 League of Ireland campaign.
The Dublin-born player can operate on the right side of midfield or as a striker.
He began his career with Home Farm and Bray Wanderers before signing for Galway in December 2007.
O'Shea has three Under 21 international caps with one goal to his name.
